More about "and on that day" and Nuva’h in general (other than Moses)

All aspects of what they said must at some point come true. Not just the sections we think came true already. Not just the few sections we read on shabbot. Not just a few lines on the UN wall. Or quoted by Rabbis.

The difficulty seems to be in how we understand their words. What we naturally do is… take the explanation that most fits our current way of thinking. Echoes what we already believe ….

No one actually reads the Naviim and thinks "hey… that can’t be" or "won’t". Because if they dare to think (too much apparently) they are called heretics, non religious.

Even if the Navi himself [or herself] says the words are a mystery, hard to say (or in the case of Jonah, run away from or try to)

God Itself puts the words into the dream-like state of prophecy.

Only Moses got words without riddles and yet look at the endless commentary on the 5 Books!!

Anyway… the point is… "on that day"… of any of the Navi that dati jews have held to as being for the Nation *and not ‘just’ one off prophecies… the ones in our holy Tenach

It seems that "on that day" has not indeed come.

Maybe "parts" of each of our Go To Navi has come true… but again, all their words MUST come true….not just the convenient sections.

כל ההיבטים של מה שהם אמרו חייבים בשלב מסוים להתגשם. לא רק הסעיפים שלדעתנו התגשמו כבר. לא רק הקטעים המעטים שאנו קוראים בשבת. לא רק כמה שורות על חומת האו"ם. או מצוטט על ידי רבנים.

נראה שהקושי הוא באופן שבו אנו מבינים את דבריהם. מה שאנחנו עושים באופן טבעי זה… לקחת את ההסבר שהכי מתאים לדרך החשיבה הנוכחית שלנו. מהדהד את מה שאנחנו כבר מאמינים….

אף אחד לא באמת קורא את הנביאים וחושב "היי… זה לא יכול להיות" או "לא יהיה". כי אם הם מעיזים לחשוב (יותר מדי כנראה) הם נקראים אפיקורסים, לא דתיים.

גם אם הנווי עצמו [או היא עצמה] אומר שהמילים הן תעלומה, קשה לומר (או במקרה של יונה, לברוח או לנסות)

אלוהים עצמו מכניס את המילים למצב של נבואה דמוי חלום.

רק משה רבנו קיבל מילים ללא חידות ובכל זאת תראו את הפרשנות האינסופית על 5 הספרים!!

בכל מקרה… הנקודה היא… "ביום ההוא"… מכל אחד מהנאווי שיהודי דאטי החזיקו בהם כעל לאומה *ולא ‘רק’ נבואות חד פעמיות… אלו שבנו תנ"ך הקדוש

נראה ש"ביום ההוא" אכן לא הגיע.

אולי "חלקים" מכל אחד מה-Go To Navi שלנו התגשמו… אבל שוב, כל המילים שלהם חייבות להתגשם…לא רק הקטעים הנוחים.
