I am not an expert in the subject and mainly paraphrase (not directly quote) the (main) teachings I have learned / heard over nearly 3 decades hoovering around dati / shomer shabbot jews / communities, various Yeshivas, and basically just being around.

**** Nav’uah is one of my favorite topics because… I simply find it fascinating.

****** I also think it is real, and in my humble opinion still possible in our day and age, we have seriously conditioned to think otherwise (by famous and respected Rabbincal figures)

***** Prophecy to me is akin to what we might call "insider trading".

Knowing details, getting information that "no one" else has (at the time) even if potentially others should in-fact know.

Here is (one) example. Jabob/Israel and Lavan and the entire sheep spotted changing the breeding of sheep that our Torah spends time on.

There were few professions in the ancient world (and most still exist. Can’t get AI to actually shovel sheep shit for example)

Anyway, Lavan and Yaakov were from sheep herding families. In-fact Yaakov and Lavan were literally IN THE SAME FAMILY!! As in cousins … just living several hundreds of Kilometers apart for decades.

Anyway. They BOTH knew about sheep.

One of the two got "insider" infomation about a specific stick from a specific tree / bush that dramatically impacted the sex drive/breeding and literally the wool color!!! What??? Talk about massive knowledge and results!@!@

How did Lavan not know about the bush/tree??? It grew in his backyard!!! He never 1x thought about it???? Hey what if I break this stick and put it near sheep / in its food….. no curiousity????

This is just one of hundreds of Torah / Tenach Navi "insider trading" incidents

ידיעת פרטים, קבלת מידע של"אף אחד" אחר אין (באותו זמן) גם אם פוטנציאל אחרים צריכים לדעת.

הנה (אחת) דוגמה. ז’בוב/ישראל ולבן וכל הכבשה הבחינו בשינוי גידול הכבשים שהתורה שלנו משקיעה בו.

היו מעט מקצועות בעולם העתיק (ורובם עדיין קיימים. לא מצליח לגרום לבינה מלאכותית לגרור חרא של כבשים למשל)

בכל אופן, לבן ויעקב היו ממשפחות רועי צאן. למעשה יעקב ולבן היו ממש באותה משפחה!! כמו בני דודים… פשוט חיים כמה מאות קילומטרים זה מזה במשך עשרות שנים.

בכל מקרה. שניהם ידעו על כבשים.

אחד מהשניים קיבל מידע "פנימי" על מקל ספציפי מעץ/שיח ספציפי שהשפיע באופן דרמטי על החשק/התרבות המיני וממש על צבע הצמר!!! מה??? דברו על ידע ותוצאות מסיביות!@!@

איך לבן לא ידע על השיח/עץ??? זה גדל בחצר האחורית שלו!!! הוא לא חשב על זה פעם אחת???? היי מה אם אשבור את המקל הזה ואשים אותו ליד כבשים / באוכל שלו….. אין סקרנות????
