A short update ..

Hamas is still able / has fired rockets at Israel (not necessarily the Tel Aviv region)

Sadly "we" only seem to report things that closest to us physically.

The Northern border w/ Lebanon is on-going "mini-war" I guess…. several 10s of thousands of Israelis got called up to reserve duty in the north

***** as you probably know,… the hostages are dying… and the whole situation is a disgrace / …. no one other than Jews/Israelis seems to care

The "organizations" that billions get poured into have not managed to visit / treat 1 hostage.

***** all Israelis not fighting or in active duty are expected to show up at work in a postive mind-set, do their jobs, go home and repeat.

The sheer will it takes to not run screaming and crying and staying at home under the covers in grief…. is hard (understatement). But brave face and all.

As the Brits would say "mind the gap"
