Nearly every navi (perhaps all of them) were compelled by God to say the following (paraphrasing). Punishments are happening / will happen due to: many/long list of sins. The Torah itself says that sins /bad things (materially in this world) happen due to not listening to God. Zero lines in the Torah, Yehoshua, Softiim, Naviim that say that someone else is responsible … all the enemies we’ve had (or will have) are ‘pawns’ to punish us for not following Gods Will. Yes, there are many , nearly all the mitzvot get oral explanations ; because , for example, we’re not to cut people’s hands off ., or burn them, or take out an eye. No one takes every single line as ‘black/white’… we must have an oral tradition. And that includes ALL the lines in all our books … // — anyway , to look for an outside person to ‘save’ us, was never in any part of tanach, which was what I have fundamentally been going on-about for nearly 16 years.
