2 Speak to Aaron and say to him: "When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall cast their light toward the face of the menorah."
Even though there are seven lights, — they are to face in 1 direction, which, if you think about basics of fire, is alot more difficult than one realizes. All the more so, all the voices in society to "row" in one direction, towards a common goal???? yet that is [a] lesson of the Menorah. to have individuality within a common purpose. Recently the person considered the greatest National Football player of all time, Tom Brady, winner of 7 championships said [many times] that he himself did not see himself as great, and often wondered why the team even played him[!!] He cannot tackle, he is notably a slow runner, he was not good at catching. He excelled in the areas of decision making under pressure and knowing there was no winning without the collective efforts of the 22 players [11 on offense and 11 on defense]. Moses Rabbanu — had Aaron, and Yehoshua ben Nun, and the Elders. Each tribe has a leader. Not everyone can be the greatest— or the best learner / or "deepest" torahs. To be a mench, to have derech ertz, to see when there is a lack of leadership to be the Flame that points to the middle. This is one of our main tasks.
