It is super hard to convince people who have already made up their minds. Even with plagues. Literally exhaust all resources and yet …. nah, people just are difficult. Stiff necked even.

One can come to the conclusion that when Rashi brings [sources] that 1/5th of Hebrews left… meaning 4/5ths died!! [By the way Rashi also brings that they left armed]… but let us say, the "other" source is accurate [Rashi brings it for us to consider], … that the Plagues were ALSO to convince the Hebrews that God wanted them to leave Egypt.

But alas, according to this [one] opinion that was not the case.

How much evidence does it take for a person to change their minds????
