There are 613 pieces of general advice given by God Itself. Do this. Do not do this.

Always with "if", and if you do this X will happen. If you don’t do, and then do anyway, X will happen.

, all within "nature".. so, if we keep specific mitzvot we can stay in Eretz Canaan [now called Israel]. If we do not … we get exiled.

But we see we were kicked out.

Why not just to listen to the Creator of the Entire Universe? Well, mainly …. as the Torah itself says, we are [meaning myself and you as well] are a stiff necked people.

**** we put it under the umbrella of Free Will. But is it really free will to be so darn stubborn that 4/5ths die !!! [As one source says].

???? People in general simply do not change. Despite warnings, despite promises … in the last Book of the Torah, …God promises if we keep mitvot the HUMAN condition will change so much no woman will have a miscarriage — and EVEN animals!! What???

And yet even with that [and proper rains] etc we still do whatever we want. We worship under every tree.

People say "I will figure it out"… okay, but really??? —- do we not need instructions?? Why go through all the problems – perhaps even death itself???? When there is a book to tell [advise] you?
