Part 2

—- so people do not experience instant death for not following the Torah….. plain and simple.

, and then it becomes something "back then" and "they were on a higher spirtual plain" and all kinds of rationale for why no one gets killed for eating shrimp / lobster

Or not having balanced weights / measures

Or murder or rape. People can do the worst of worst dressed up in "religious" garb and pitom get away with it. And then the rest of us who generally follow most rules … see that "nothing" happens and start to question God ; Gods Justice ; etc

And the questions keep coming. Why did God allow the Shoah. Or babies with cancer? Or cancer in general?

worse things than cancer. It turns out humans are rather terrible to each other.

And where is God? Why "no lightening bolts" ??? Why ???

And the Problem of Evil eats away at faith, at emunah

And people "stop" believing, stop being religious. "Off the derech".

We all know people who left Judaism, and I know people who left the daughter religions. They simply do not see God in everyday human situations.

And therefore, God , as presented in the Holy Books does not actually exist.

They might stay generally good people in the grand scheme. Just because a person stops keeping kosher, tephilan, or Tzuiot, or drives on shabbot etc etc does not mean they also murder[!]

We see people "stop" being religious and as if the person is dead. Done, no hope.

And what about the billions of non jews who have the 7 Noahide laws??? [And if they live in Israel permanetly perhaps more mitvot] [[like not eating the blood of animals]]
