Part 3
The Torah is full of mitvot — duh.
613 many say.
365 ; 248
One for each day, one for each body organ
The mivot are "tuning forks"
, each one has it’s reason, impact
, "actually" it is similar to aiming an arrow at a target… we are aiming our souls / bodies at Hashem to guide our lives to be "in tune"
, and not eating kosher, well, yes "no" lightening bolts come down. But spirtually it "clogs" the soul, like cholestrol clogs our our arteries… so we have to find examples from our world and say mitzvot are like that
Does everyone who drives too fast / run red lights get in accidents??? Does every car crash caused by texting end up with dead drivers???? No. But we still put up rules. We still have traffic laws and traffic rules
Does every horrible human get caught in this world?? Where is the scale of justice??
Again the hard questions are REAL. God is … literally impossible to understand / comprehend.
Being left with questions is the foundation of the opening line of the 1st mishna
