Subject: End of Achari mot and kodoshiim

The two parshas have a great deal of overlap and similar lists of mitzvot. At the end of each we’re told a extensive list of forbidden relationships and dont worship Molach etc.

The Torah tells us that these above things (the list) was what caused "the nation" (specifically one; not told which of the 7 caanite nations) is getting vomited out. ..

Heres my question: what did they do wrong to get kicked out of Israel? the rest of the world has 7 laws to follow… When we look at the lists in both parashas we see them as "jewish" must does or must not do.. (like dont touch a woman when shes in nidda)

The others also .. Mah kesher to the nation or nations that were in Israel before us?

I have a feeling answer (ie my own opinion) but Im curious about the sources have to say and of course your own input

by the way.. it really goes to show how sensitive the land is to its inhabitants. Not to sound "anti-zionist" … but we really have no stake here other than our behavior. Even with the promise to Avraham.. it is conditional on us – me – you – all Jews doing what we’re supposed to do.

it makes me wonder,.. maybe we’re getting pushed around by our enemies for a "reason" (to wake up and stop the chillu hashem ..). and I mean that to the Dati crowd.
