Abraham the good guy ; the guy who stands for G-d ; who other people say is a man of G-d .. was about to sacrifice his 'loved son' (poor Ishmael) ; and the whole world is screaming out DON'T DO IT !! ---- that is the entire point of the Akida ! to turn the world ; which previously was common for child sacrifice to get the READER to be disgusted ., repulsed by child sacrifice to the point where, later the Torah gives the prohibition against sending children to Molach , we are already thinking "who would ever sacrifice their child /chidren? === THE AKIDA TURNS THE WORLD AGAINST CHILD SACRIFICE
